Blind Threaded Inserts

Blind Threaded Inserts are manufactured on high speed cold forming equipment. Blind Threaded Inserts are fasteners with internal or external threads that are designed to provide strong threads in thin panel sections or tubing. They are called “blind” because they can be installed from one side of the panel so that access to both sides is not required during installation. Because there is not a need to see or access the backside to complete installation, blind threaded fasteners are ideally suited for tubing, extrusions, cabinets and frame applications.

Blind installed threaded fasteners are used extensively in the transportation industry and general industrial markets worldwide. Blind Threaded Inserts are manufactured as inserts or studs in both unified (inch) and metric measurements along with numerous special designs that meet customer application requirements.
