Oil pumps for the engine market are produced for either the reciprocating two stroke engine or with a gerotor design for the four stroke engine.
The two stroke engine oil pump is designed with either a fixed single flow outlet, a variable flow single outlet or a variable flow multiple outlet.
The gerotor design can include an integrated filter, rotating pump, stationary shaft, and twin rotor with a single or double outlet and an integrated relief valve. The drive gears can be injection molded plastic, sintered and shaved or fine blanked/conventionally stamped depending on the operating requirements.
